It was the middle of World War II. The Germans have  installed their war machine base in an area 12 kilometres southeast of Athens, close to Kalamaki Beach.

Just outside of the German camp, there was a very small house made from clay bricks.

On the 29th of March, 1942, Palm Sunday, Thekla, a very pretty 27 year old gave birth with the help of a midwife to a boy whom they named Spyros.
